Incentives are available for building project implementation and include rebates for energy modelling costs too.
This program encourages the adoption of new construction practices that use less energy and lower greenhouse gases. This will help the construction and design industry prepare for the low carbon economy and the transition to net-zero construction codes.

The New Construction Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program helps the construction and design industry prepare for the low carbon economy and the transition to net-zero energy ready construction codes. Participation is easy with the following steps:

Buildings that are in the planning or design phase must request participation prior to construction by completing and submitting the online registration form.
Program staff will review your application and may contact you to discuss your project.

Submit your energy modelling proposal from an approved provider.

Once pre-approved by program staff, the energy modelling work is considered eligible for rebates.

The incentive will be paid upon review and approval of submittals after construction is completed.
